In October 2018, we hosted an open house at the Dominion Ridge Dental office of Dr. Louis Garcia, DDS.
Experts in the fields of sleep medicine, otolaryngology, sleep dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery were on hand to discuss how they assist in the identification and treatment of sleep apnea and other related conditions. We look forward to building new partnerships across San Antonio, TX, and educating the public on sleep apnea and other sleep breathing disorders. |
Working Together to Improve Your Sleep
After your free consultation, our team may determine that additional evaluation is necessary to determine whether you are experiencing obstructive sleep apnea or another sleep breathing disorder. We may refer your to one of our many professional partners for additional testing or treatment. With Sleep Easy, the referral process is simple and we can even set up a remote consultation via telemedicine from one of our three convenient locations in San Antonio.
How Do we evaluate your airway?
With our in-office CT machine, getting the information we need to evaluate your airway is a snap!

Modern technology allows us to build a comprehensive picture of your airway without needing an invasive procedure. We are proud to have our CT machine in the office. All you need to do is stand with the correct position in front of the machine as it scans around your entire head. Then, the technology builds a 3D map of your airways. We have our CT scans read and evaluated by the professionals at BeamReaders.

Additional Treatment for Sleep Apnea and Other Sleep Breathing Disorders

Your CT scan results may help us determine your course of treatment. Sleep breathing disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea can have serious consequences if left untreated. Our team will determine whether you are a good fit for one of our custom-made oral appliances that gently shift your jaw to aid breathing while asleep.
Obstructions in your airway can mean that you do not get the oxygen you need while you sleep. If our team determines that a surgical intervention may help alleviate your breathing issues, we may refer you to one of our professional partners for additional evaluation. |
